LEARN PPC (Pay Per Click)
Pay per Click has become an integrated part of search engines where the reach to target market is the highest. We know that most of the informational quest on internet starts from a search engine. But then what is this PPC advertising all about? If you are planning to explore this system to make best use of this model with promising ROI, take tips from our resource! I will be writing about how to create and manage effective PPC Campaigns throughout this tutorial series.
PPC or "pay per click" is an advertising model on the internet where businesses pay some predetermined amount (through bidding), each time their advertisement is "clicked". (Note: And not for number of times it was displayed.)
How these ads are displayed on the search engines?
Well, a small text ad will be placed on the result pages of a search engine (SERP- Search Engine Result Page).
How is That Effective?
The ad will be displayed only when a search engine user searches for some information and your ad matches with that. If the user clicks on the ad, specified amount will be deducted. (You pay precise amount of money to the provider as pre-paid currency for the ads) Advertiser pays for every click that is received on the ad and as mentioned before not for the number of times the ad was displayed. So the name - pay per click for this system. And this is effective because your ad is displayed only when a related query happens which implies that chances of being seen by your target market are the highest.
If that sounds simple, the complexity is in actually executing it. Since you are paying for the clicks you definitely want to make sure that these clicks convert into sales.
In the next post I will be writing about the PPC process and how to manage the campaign successfully so that to get the highest conversion rate.
